Welcome

Welcome to St Luke's Park Primary School

I am very proud to be the headteacher of St. Luke's Park Primary School, a lovely new school situated on St. Luke's Park development in Runwell. We opened in September 2022 and over the next 4 years we will grow into a single-form-entry primary school with a total capacity of 210 children across seven classes.

Before we opened, the staff team talked about the values which mattered most to us and qualities we wanted to develop within the children we teach. Individuality, respect, resilience, responsibility, courage, compassion, collaboration & creativity form the basis of everything we do and the decisions we make at school. Children demonstrating these values are celebrated in our 'Great People' assembly at the end of each week.

We have one school rule, 'Make Great Choices' and children are encouraged to take responsibility for the choices that they make. We regularly receive lovely comments from visitors to our school who are so impressed with children's respectful attitude towards others. We share interesting and inspiring stories during our 'Think about Great Things' assemblies to inspire courage, compassion, collaboration, resilience and creativity. Above all, we value children's unique contribution to our school and their individuality. We remind children that, 'You are unique and special: no one is exactly like you'.

Our maximum class size is 30, although we may be asked by the local authority to go beyond this number in certain circumstances.

We are full in all year groups for September 2024, except for our year 4 class which still has some spaces.

As we are a growing school, we do not have year 5 or 6 classes yet.

The school is part of The Eveleigh LINK Academy Trust which consists of Purleigh Primary School, Meadgate Primary School, Maylandsea Primary School, Larkrise Primary School, Tiptree Heath Primary School, Maltese Road Primary School and St. Luke's Park Primary School. Information about the Trust can be found at www.eveleighlink.com

We are lucky to have tremendous support from our local community and our school has a real 'family feel'. You will get a taste of this from our website and newsletters but do get in touch if you are considering choosing our school for your child; we would be delighted to show you around.
