PTFA Seed Library

Welcome to our seed library 🪴

Please collect some seeds from the school reception by Friday 24th March.

If you are rubbish at growing seeds try to find someone else green fingered from your family or friends who can help you.

Please help yourself to a little brown envelope if you want to take a few seeds from different packets. There are also lollipop sticks you can use as markers.

We will be selling these plants at our summer fair on Saturday 15th July so please return any plants that survived between 10th-14th July.

Thanks so much for your help, we hope the kids enjoy ‘helping’ grow them too

Reading Challenge

To help support and develop our children's love of reading and books. We have set the children a challenge to read or to be read as many books as possible in one week. Starting Thursday 2nd March through to Thursday 9th March. We are keen to encourage a group effort with each class, working as a team collecting stars for Squirrels or Little Owls. Stars will be awarded for each picture book, school reading book or chapter of a book etc (read or listened to). Please record ALL books in your child's school reading record book to be awarded stars. Prizes will not be given for most money raised, which is why we have set up a whole school collection. Prizes will be given for most stars collected by Thursday 9th March.

Hello and welcome from your new Parent, Teachers and Friends association (PTFA for short). Thank you for those who were able to join our first AGM on Friday morning - as promised, and for those unable to attend please find attached the presentation we prepared.

On the final slide you’ll see a variety of links where you’re able to donate to our start up fund - to ensure we have the resources and equipment necessary to set up some amazing events for you and your children. There’s no obligation but any donation is greatly appreciated!

Looking forward to sharing details about our first event very shortly - until then please don’t hesitate to reach out to us on
